About The Event

Lughnasadh or Lammas (Loaf Mass) is a celebration of the first harvest, from the union of Sun and Earth, God and Goddess. It is the Grain Harvest and a time for gathering and giving thanks for abundance. The holiday is named after the Celtic Sun God Lugh, and he is seen not only as the Sun, but also as the Living Spirit of the corn or grain. At this time the Goddess is in her aspect as Grain Mother, Harvest Mother or Harvest Queen.

Join us for our community Lughnasadh celebration and drum circle as we celebrate the first harvest with gratitude and song as the Wheel of the Year turns once more!

Hosted by Shamanic practitioner Roger Lockshier and Rachel Wurz.
